Chemoradiation is a documented curative alternative to radical cystectomy(1), and is a multi-disciplinary exercise involving radiation oncologists, urologists, physicists, RTTs and of course the patients. Earlier this year the Nanovi team had the honor to meet the team at the Amsterdam UMC sharing insights on their specific role in this complex treatment. There is on-going data collection in The Netherlands to document the long-term benefit including health economics of bladder sparring treatment compared to radical cystectomy.

On #ESTRO2022 further results on the bladder sparring treatment option will be presented in a poster by Sana Azzarouali titled “AI-Based Online Adaptive CBCT-Guided Radiotherapy using a Focal Boost and Markers for Bladder Cancer” and in a poster discussion taking place Saturday May 07 14:15 – 15:15.
