International capacity in innovative radiation oncology joins Nanovi’s board

At Nanovi’s Annual General Meeting on 27 May 2021, Brian Holch Kristensen was elected as new board member, adding further to the board of directors’ span of competences.
Brian Holch Kristensen is Chief Innovation Officer at Bispebjerg Hospital in Copenhagen, and he brings into Nanovi substantial experience and international connections in the field of innovative radiation oncology.
Before taking over in his current position, Brian was Chief Physicist at the Radiotherapy Department at Herlev Hospital, also Copenhagen, where he has spent more than 15 years in leading roles focusing on the development and implementation of radical and novel radiation treatment. Throughout his career, Brian has promoted innovation in radiation therapy through collaborations and been a key facilitator for a number of successful public-private partnerships with major radiation equipment suppliers, incl. Varian, BrainLab and GE. In his role as Chief Physicist at Herlev Hospital, Brian has also been involved in clinical investigations of BioXmark®, Nanovi’s leading fiducial marker for high precision radiation therapy.
Brian has a Master’s degree in atomic physics from Aarhus University and is a certified Medical Physics Expert (MPE).
In a comment to his election, Brian Holch Kristensen said: “I`m very excited to continue my work within improvement of cancer treatments by entering the Nanovi board, and I look forward to be working with the rest of the management group to exploit the full potential of Nanovi’s innovative and novel product portfolio.”
Further at the General Meeting, all existing board members were reelected with Simon Hesse Hoffmann continuing as chairman.
